The Habbzy Habbo of the Week is a chance for us to feature one of the many community members who make Habbzy feel like family. It may be a DJ, a staff member, or someone who just shows up often and keeps the vibe uplifting. This week's Habbo of the Week is the Dead Shift DJ who keeps the vibes going late into the night, and manages to keep even the sleepiest Habbos upbeat and energetic - none other than DJ am-i-dead?!
DJ Dead can be found late at night spinning tunes for Habbzy. Just when you think the party might be over, DJ Dead steps up to the plate and plays banger after banger! He plays a solid variety of music that can fit just about everyone's niche, bringing the Habbzy community and beyond together with his beats. In addition to being an outstanding DJ, Dead is also an incredibly welcoming and friendly face within Habbzy, making sure everyone feels included.
We wanted to learn some more about DJ Dead, so see below what he had to share:
What brought you to Habbzy?
I got brought to Habbzy by a random visit to Pipe’s room back in late July where Tiger was. We got to talking and they let me apply to be a DJ after some I had shown interest! Stoked and very grateful to be here!
Where will people most commonly find you in Habbo?
People can usually find me in the Habbzy rooms dancing and chatting away. Sometimes I like to run around the hallways screaming silly quotes!
What is the story behind your username?
The story behind my username is simply to get a chuckle out of people
Are there any features you really hope get added to Origins?
My biggest feature I’d like to see added are Room Save States that can revert a room back to a certain day and time if needed.
When you are offline, what do you enjoy doing?
Offline, I love playing bass and guitar. I also make jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, and bracelets for friends with a shop in the works.
What genre(s) of music do you play during your sets and why?
I play a mix of everything from Rock and its subgenres to Rap and everything in between. I do like to play the deep cuts from popular artists. I hope that people can find something new or find the fun in what’s familiar.
