The Habbzy Habbo of the Week is a chance for us to feature one of the many community members who make Habbzy feel like family. It may be a DJ, a staff member, or someone who just shows up often and keeps the vibe uplifting. This week's Habbo of the Week is someone with an incredibly creative mind, producing and managing beautiful art for Habbzy... none other than the recently promoted Creative Director Rakut!

When you go on Habbzy's website, you'll see a lot of pixel art - the banners for the news articles, our lovely mascot Emmet, and various other promotional artworks, all of which were created by Rakut! He is the visionary that brings a lot of Habbzy to life with his many artworks and ideas. Without his creative insight, Habbzy would be a lot more Drab-zy. When Rakut isn't putting his artistic talent to work for Habbzy, he may also be writing articles for Habbzy News! No matter what he is working on, you know you can count on Rakut to always put forward his best effort.

We took Rakut to the drawing board so he could answer some questions for us. You can find his answers below:

What brought you to Habbzy?

Tiger invited me to the Habbzy Creative Team since he recognized me as a pixel artist. On Classic Habbo, I used to work for fansites like HabboCreate (.com) and Habbid/Kihabbo (.com.br).

Where will people most commonly find you in Habbo?

Always chatting and playing games around the hotel, making some fun - a little bit of necessary chaos!

What is the story behind your username?

"RA" are the first 2 letters from my real name, and "KUT" is for "Orkut", an early 2000's social network which is very famous where I live.

Are there any features you really hope get added to Origins?

There is a lot of stuff being added to the game due to the community feedback, but to be honest, til this day I am still kinda gagged when I see the Portaloo I inspired inside the game because this is real proof of the Habbo Origins Team efforts, even with lesser resources.

When you are offline, what do you enjoy doing?

I work as Bartender so I am ALWAYS PARTYING, I am also learning to DJ this year - beyond that, I like to have some time to myself since I'm surrounded by a lot of people at work.

What inspired you to start creating art?

When I was a little kid, even without a Home PC I played Habbo at the Internet Cafe in my neighbourhood (that's a very Brazilian cultural thing) and Habbo was my first touch at "drawing" stuff. After those years, I improved my technique, expanding through other design styles... somehow knowing how to draw pixel by pixel shaped my art style.

Do you have any parting words for your fellow Habbos?

I will leave you with these words: "Whoever persists always achieves their goal, nothing's ever too late." Luv y'all!
