The Habbzy Habbo of the Week is a chance for us to feature one of the many community members who make Habbzy feel like family. It may be a DJ, a staff member, or someone who just shows up often and keeps the vibe uplifting. This week, we are extending our deepest appreciation for a staple in the fabric of Habbzy's family quilt... Carter! In our opinion, there is no Habbzy without him.
Carter joined the Habbzy family several months ago, first as a listener and then quickly everything else. He is a Radio DJ, an event-planning monster, a master of words on the news team, and even a voice of reason on the management team (despite not having a manager title... until today)! Carter brings the good vibes - there's not a single person in our organization that doesn't benefit from how welcoming he is at all of our events. The leadership team of Habbzy has even decided that Carter absolutely deserves the title of General Manager for his hard work and dedication!
While Carter spends most of his time planning intricate events for us, we wanted to ask him to spend a little bit of energy in telling us about himself. Lets see what he had to share:
What brought you to Habbzy?
I randomly logged on one night and saw CaptainSlayer's room. Immediately the crowd in there was super friendly and welcoming, so I decided to check out the website in the room's name. Slayer was playing some pretty rad music and immediately made me feel at home with the Habbzy crew. From then I knew I wanted to be involved, and I don't regret my decision one bit!
Where will people most commonly find you in Habbo?
Usually any room with Habbzy in the name! I love to be where my friends are. Sometimes inspiration strikes and you may find me building my own room as well!
What is the story behind your username?
Sorry to not have an exciting answer to this one, but Carter's just... my name. My middle name is based on an Overwatch character though, so you can have that Carter lore instead!
Are there any features you really hope get added to Origins?
I really want accessories. I feel bare without my avatar having glasses.
When you are offline, what do you enjoy doing?
Well, I love a lot of other video games like Overwatch 2, Phasmophobia, Balatro, Minecraft, and more. Outside of video games, however, I love drawing, folding origami, singing, and playing bass (I'm not very good at it, but it's fun)!
You have so many roles at Habbzy... which is your favorite and why?
That's a tough question! If I had to choose, either Events or News. Events is so fun, getting to come up with, organize, and host events for the Habbzy community and beyond always feels so rewarding - but on the flip side, I love getting to interview and write about all of the amazing people that make Habbzy feel like home!
