The Habbzy Habbo of the Week is a chance for us to feature one of the many community members who make Habbzy feel like family. It may be a DJ, a staff member, or someone who just shows up often and keeps the vibe uplifting. This week, we wanted to take a closer look at someone who is newer to Habbzy's community, but already a very integral part of it. You can find him at many of Habbzy's DJ shows or hanging out in the Discord, and he even stepped up into the DJ role - we're of course talking about SilenceWF!
Silence, despite only recently joining Habbzy, has already made a tremendous positive impact on the community. He is very friendly and easily approachable, meaning community members both old and new have no problems getting along with him. He is a staunch supporter of anything Habbzy - in fact, he is so dedicated to Habbzy that he is almost always online on both Habbo and Discord! Silence is definitely a wonderful human who we are all glad to have met.
Silence took the time to answer our questions about him, check it out below:
What brought you to Habbzy?
Caddylaks, on my second or third day I was floating around rooms and he was talking to another guy about a community server, so I asked for an invite. Still the best decision of my life.
Where will people most commonly find you in Habbo?
In my Mixed Bunch Furni Shop doing sweet trades for all sorts of goods.
What is the story behind your username?
It's a Dr. Who reference, the full version being Silence Will Fall, a shortened version of a long quote. I've always been a fan of Dr. Who and many years ago it kind of stuck, I've been Silence ever since!
Are there any features you really hope get added to Origins?
I'd love to see daily tasks, that would take me all over the hotel for different rewards. Always been a fan of quests, and in a game like this, I think it would bring activity and bring about more community interaction.
When you are offline, what do you enjoy doing?
I'm very rarely offline, but when I am, its camping, I love sleeping under the stars, smelling the campfire smouldering, enjoying the sounds of nature.
What is your favorite part about the Habbzy community?
The camaraderie of everyone. I haven't been here very long in the grand scheme of things, but it feels like I've been here since 2005. Everyone gets along, everyone has a good laugh, it's just a very welcoming and inclusive community.
Do you have any parting words for your fellow Habbos?
Remember folks, mental health is important. If you're not feeling yourself, reach out, there are plenty of people around you willing to help you through. If you are struggling with things going on in life, take some time to yourself, self care is important! Do something you like, even if it's little. Take a relaxing bath, listen to some music, disconnect and relax, you are important! You matter!
