The Habbzy Habbo of the Week is a chance for us to feature one of the many community members who make Habbzy feel like family. It may be a DJ, a staff member, or someone who just shows up often and keeps the vibe uplifting. For our latest Habbodex entry, we wanted to shine the spotlight on a prominent member of the Hotel who has been quite the catalyst in terms of events and fun had throughout the community, his presence causing ripples of joy. This week, it's all about ProfessorOak!
ProfessorOak found his way to the Hotel a few months back, and his presence has brought a burst of life and activity. Having distributed tons and tons of Pokémon to the Hotel residents, the Professor has been nothing short of a miracle for Habbo's community. Many Pokémon have been able to find loving forever homes due to the Professor's diligence in matching them up to the perfect trainers! He is also incredibly kind, intelligent, and always willing to help where he can.
We were able to squeeze into the Professor's busy schedule to ask him some questions, see what he had to say below:
What brought you to Habbzy?
I’d found Habbzy early on to my arrival at the hotel, and would listen along while working in my Lab. With the expected arrival of Johto, and seeing all of their incredible events, Master Inx got me in contact, and I was over the moon to begin working with them!
Where will people most commonly find you in Habbo?
Residents and Trainers can often find me in the rooms alongside our latest projects, or teaching Trainers in my educational gym!
What is the story behind your username?
My username came as a formal way of address, as I was bringing a lot of personal effects in to hotel with me, and Professor sounded more formal than Samual.
Are there any features you really hope get added to Origins?
Formatting tools would make a wonderful addition - as anyone who had received the HC gift trophy can attest, there is certainly a disconnect.
When you are offline, what do you enjoy doing?
Offline is much the same as online for me. Socialising! There are so many wonderful people both in and out of the hotel, spending time in other's company is the spice of life.
Can you tell us any exciting Pokémon news?
Ah, Pokémon news! Well, as Trainers may know, we have begun a round of new additions. The incredibly warm welcome they received has been quite the catalyst. With brevity as my friend, TraderClub and Habbzy will be ushering in the latest arrivals of Legendary Pokémon (Yes, there are more!) as well as opening the latest series of Gyms. With their potential, we’ll be seeing Pokémon from every known region arriving before long.
