The Habbzy Habbo of the Week is a chance for us to feature one of the many community members who make Habbzy feel like family. It may be a DJ, a staff member, or someone who just shows up often and keeps the vibe uplifting. To wrap up 2024, we're taking a closer look at an absolute gem who is a games mastermind and an overall delight to be around. Our final Habbo of the Week for 2024 is none other than BobBarker!

BobBarker has made waves in the Origins community ever since joining it. Originally hopping on the summer Trophy Craze, Bob has done nothing but bring fun and exciting events to Habbo. Between hosting events such as The Price is Right or interactive adventures on his website TheQuackory, Bob has breathed new life into the Hotel! Bob is a staple of the Origins family, and we at Habbzy are thankful for his contributions to the game.

Between his busy schedule, Bob was able to answer some questions for us! See what he had to say below:

What brought you to Habbzy?

I first came across a Habbzy party room one night when I was first joining the hotel. I was a huge supporter of fansites when I originally played Habbo and Habbzy's vibes and community aspects reminded me of those times. It was a huge nostalgia kick, and that is something I enjoy finding. I was thankful for that.

Where will people most commonly find you in Habbo?

If you ask the fish chef himself Cerdo, you would find me in the hallways watering the plants, haha. But I don't really have a consistent place as I like to get around and meet new people. Usually I am trying to find a random room with a nice group of folks who I can converse with and maybe sneak in a GIF or two.

What is the story behind your username?

BobBarker was an alias I created to join in on the trophy craze. He was the host of the gameshow The Price is Right for many many years, I was very obsessed with the show growing up and he holds a special place in my heart. So when I was thinking of what gameshow host would be fun to send out trophies, I thought of BobBarker! I had always planned to do games and events as I do now under my original account Jaykah, but as time went on, I sort of just stayed on BobBarker more and more and now it's my main. Jaykah is only used for his monthly HC gifts, haha.

Are there any features you really hope get added to Origins?

I would love to see either page numbers or skip to the end in your hand inventory. It takes forever sometimes to get to the end when trying to trade or even place in your room. The other thing would be a mass gifter ability to add more then 1 name to a gift that way you can mass send. I would enjoy both of those very much.

When you are offline, what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy playing with my pug, Lennox. She is full of energy and loves to play fetch a lot. So we go to the park and things like that. I also enjoy collecting new crystals, so you can find me headed to new shops or shows to find my newest additions to my collection.

What keeps you excited about Origins?

The community keeps me excited. There are so many creative and brilliant individuals. It's fascinating to see what people come up with and the passion they have behind things. If there wasn't a community there wouldn't be an Origins, and there are GEMS in this group of folks.

Do you have any parting words for your fellow Habbos?

Be kind to each other and most importantly yourselves. Also, please help control the pet population and have your pets spayed or neutered.
